Live streaming reaction analytics
. YouTube has introduced new analytics that allow creators to track viewer reactions in real time. These data reveal the number of reactions and their types, such as emojis, like love hearts, or party poppers. To access this information simply navigate to your content, then the Overview tab. Note that this feature is currently exclusive to Studio web and mobile.Impression breakdown
. YouTube has launched a new feature that will allow you to segment the number of views by returning and new viewers. This feature will help you understand your audience better and adjust your content to appeal to both new and return viewers. This feature is available in YouTube Studio Analytics’ advanced mode. Now you can live stream your video to YouTube using HDR. Conor Kavanagh explains the benefits of this new feature: “HDR gives you crisper whites, deeper blacks and more vibrant colors. HDR also allows you to capture much more detail in your stream because fine-grained color gradations are preserved instead of being smeared out, resulting in hyper-detailed, hyper-realistic streams for your viewers.”
- With the latest OBS 30.1 release, you can now stream in HDR to YouTube via RTMP. You can use your existing RTMP workflows to provide the best quality YouTube experience for your viewers. To do this, ensure that your monitor supports HDR and that your camera, if applicable also supports HDR for PQ or HLG. Please note that currently, you can use the hevc Codec to stream in HDR, but streaming HDR with ab1 is not yet supported.
